Technical Intern – London

Start date: Immediate
Reporting to: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Head Office, London
Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm
Salary: £16-18k pa

Priority One has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to support our highly skilled team of engineers as Technical Intern. This role would suit an individual with a proven structured and methodological approach to both work and study.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day tasks supporting the delivery of the Managed IT Service we provide, including builds and backups for our expanding client base.

Working alongside our team of highly skilled engineers on a wide range of technologies will provide a great opportunity for learning and expanding technical knowledge outside of the internship requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Working in the builds department, assisting with hardware and software installations.
  • Conducting routine maintenance tasks for existing systems, with the opportunity to assist in developing and installing new systems.
  • Managing the workflow of items arriving for build or repair.
  • Ensuring the work area is kept clear and tidy.

Required Technical Experience
General understanding or knowledge of the following:

  • Windows 7/10 desktop OS
  • Troubleshooting capabilities evidenced by organised, analytical thinking
  • PC components and peripheral equipment, their functionality and typical behaviour
  • Software products (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite)

Desirable Technical Experience

  • Apple Mac
  • Basic Networking knowledge
  • Basic Coding experience (any Language)
  • Basic Active Directory/Exchange knowledge

  • Organised and resourceful with excellent time management

Finance & Procurement Assistant – London

Start date: Immediate

Finance Manager
Location:
Head Office, London
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm
Salary: £18-20k pa

Priority One has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our Finance team as Finance & Procurement Assistant. This role would suit an individual with an excellent phone manner, who is extremely organised and has excellent attention to detail.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting and procurement tasks outlined below, reporting to the Finance Manager. No specific accounting experience is required, but a good grasp of numbers, Excel and a good standard of written English is essential.

This is a busy role within a fun and dedicated team and would be great for someone who is interested in building on their administration and accounting skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ordering client IT equipment
  • Reconciling equipment purchases against client invoices
  • Monthly recurring invoicing to clients for core services
  • Credit control
  • Organising couriers
